Plastiko was founded in 2008 in St Louis, MO with manufacturing and sustainability in mind. While it began as regional sales in the Midwest, it quickly expanded to serve more customers in North America with concentrates and specialty.
Today, Plastiko sources and distributes. The company continues to earn double digit growth each year as more manufacturers look to recycled plastic in new products.

Our Team
Founder: David Nikolaus
With 30+ years of experience, David has extensive knowledge and network in the plastic raw materials and color concentrate industry. In 2008, he founded Plastiko to fill a gap in the market for recycled plastic raw material. In his free time, David enjoys golf, yoga, cooking, and gardening.
Betty Scott / Client Coordinator
Betty joined Plastiko in early 2020. She is a graduate of Western Illinois University. Prior to joining Plastiko she worked in a similar capacity for a regional music supply company.
Her primary tasks are overseeing our sales orders, vendors orders, shipping & receiving, and AR’s & AP’s.
In here spare time Betty enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, photography, & cooking.

Justin Abney is serving as a Business Development Representative at Plastiko, Inc. Prior to joining Plastiko Inc, Justin honed his skills in business management through various roles, where he consistently demonstrated a knack for connecting with others and providing them with top-notch support. Justin continues to stay abreast of plastic industry trends, ensuring that Plastiko, Inc. remains at the forefront of innovation and is committed to delivering value to our clients.

Hari Rajaraman
Hari Rajaraman has over 37 years of industrial experience with polymers. Hari has been a consultant for the past 25 years in the areas of color concentrates, polymer additives, plastics processing and landscape coatings. Hari’s full time work experience includes
six years with a leading manufacturer of nylon resins and fibers in India and six years with M.A. Hanna in the U.S. Hari earned his Master’s degree in Polymer Engineering from the University of Akron. He has been granted 8 U.S. patents.
